| The first collection of papers on maritime matter was issued in 1964 and its successor today is the Journal of Maritime Studies, a scientific publication reviewed by outstanding international experts, regularly published since 1999. The journal publishes papers of Faculty members, scholars, researchers and contributors dealing at home and abroad. The journal is primarily intended for operators in the maritime field employed on board ships, in shipping companies, institutions and universities, but it is open to all people interested in maritime affairs. The subject matter dealt with is interdisciplinary and related to the sphere of technical science with reference to transport technology in particular to sea and river transportation. The papers are printed in Croatian and English. The journal is published twice a year. The fields covered are: Marine Engineering, Marine Transport Technology, Nautical Science, Social Science and the Humanities, Marine Ecology, Computer Science and Information Technology. |
