Licence: 2 years from 10th September 2013
- All certificates issued during the "licence period" will be valid and accepted by the Publication Integrity & Ethics, and their validity will not be affected by any future decisions related to the course re-assessment process.

20-point-evaluation (score 1-10; 1=poor, 10=excellent)
Aims: The aims of the course are clearly defined.
Assessment: The process is straightforward and satisfactory; the questions are within the scope of the course.
Author: At least one of the course authors has extensive experience in the field.
Content: Content of the course covers the whole proposed curriculum. Also, the contents are original and up-to-date.
Course Fees: The course fees are appropriate to candidates from third world countries.
Cultural Fit: The congruence of the e-learning course is within the norms and values of the organisation.
English: The quality of English is appropriate and acceptable to candidates whose first language is not English.
Exercises: The course has helpful pre-course and/or pre-assessment exercises.
Format: The format and structure of the course followed the recommendations of the Publications Integrity & Ethics.
Graphic User Interface: The GUI is an appropriate base template that surrounds the e-learning content.
Instructional Approach: The approach helps the learner learn, assimilate and apply the course content.
Interactivity: This is applied appropriately to involve and engage the learner in active learning.
Navigation: The navigation (including buttons, tabs or hyperlinks) within the e-learning course is easy and practical.
Online: The course is a full-online-course. The materials are easily accessed online and compatible with the commonly used browsers and their various versions.
Re-sits: The course allows at least one re-sit and supports the candidate during the appeal process.
Target: Target candidates will find the course useful.
Text Use: Appropriate approach is taken to impart the course content to the learner.
Timeline: The course provides a reasonable timeline for a distant learning fully online course.
Tutor: The course provides continuous tutor support.
Visual Design: Visual design (including the look and feel of the course itself, image type and treatment, and use of whitespace) is easy and interesting to interpret and learn from.
