Francesco Carinci MD
Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
Dr Carinci is a professor of oral and maxillofacial surgery. He is the Director of the School of Specialization in Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Ferrara since February 2006.Also he is the Director of the School of Specialization in Neurosurgery at the University of Ferrara since October 2011. His main research topics include cleft lip and palate, craniofacial syndromes, head and neck cancer, dental implants, bone, biomaterials, stem cells and have published over 280 articles in these fields.
1990 – Degree in Medicine at the University of Ferrara, Italy.
1994 – Specialist in ENT.
2000 – Specialist in Maxillofacial Surgery.
1985 and 1986 – Research Fellow at National Institute of Health (Bethesda, U.S.A.).
1999 – Resident at the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery, John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford (UK).
Assistant Professor of Maxillofacial Surgery since February 1994.
Associated Professor of Maxillofacial Surgery since September 2002.
Director of the School of Specialization in Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Ferrara since February 2006.
